Day 2
Courtney had not turned up at the set of Friends for the days filming, and the crew were getting worried, because she would answer their calls. Lisa and Jennifer shrugged it off, saying she was probably just ill....
..Courtney had lain in her bed all day crying, wondering what she had done to deserve the beating she took yesterday. She was bruised and sore all over, and the hospital had told her to rest for a day or two. She had managed to make her way to the New York hospital when Lisa and Jennifer had left their changing room yesterday.
She wasn't sure if she would ever be able to go back to work, let alone look at Lisa or Jennifer, her former best friends and colleagues. It wouldn't be long before the press and media found out, and a worldwide humiliation would ensue.
In the afternoon, Courtney showered and ate, and then cried herself into the evening.
Back on set, Jennifer was fuming over the latest headline in an American magazine:
"She was awful to work with."
The story was all about Jennifer Aniston and how up-herself she was on set, but the article did not state who had said the quote. But it had to be Courtney didn't it? She would have wanted revenge. Jennifer showed Lisa and they both vowed to punish Courtney even further, and that this time, her humiliation would be even worse. Little did they know, Cameron Diaz was lounging by her pool in Spain, reading her quote in the very same magazine. Jennifer and Cameron had worked on a film together called 'She's the one.' They had seemed to get along well, but Cameron obviously didn't like the arrogance of Aniston. So she got hold of the magazine, and unknowingly put Courtney in a lot of trouble.
